About The Event

They've been working super hard and they,ll be coming to us fresh from Ocean Sounds.....what a pleasure it will be.

About TFJ

The Foxy Junes are a pop-rock-funk force that have been lighting up Phillip Island

and Melbourne. From private parties to New Year’s Eve On The Hill, they’ve quickly

built a reputation for delivering more than just a gig. Every show is a full-blown

experience. Their 70s-inspired sound, paired with vintage aesthetic and soaring

four-part harmonies, sets them apart from the pack.

In just their first year, they’ve carved out a loyal fanbase who keep coming back for

the band’s ever-changing set-lists and high energy performances and are set to

share the stage with The Teskey Brothers, Playlunch, and Steph Strings on the 2026

Ocean Sounds lineup. With dazzling vocals, locked-in grooves, and a line-up

featuring keys, twin guitars, bass, drums, and the occasional synth, The Foxy Junes

deliver a dense, vibrant sound that refuses to be ignored.

The band separately have a broad range of performance and musical experience,

be that in musical theatre, modelling or playing with jazz and classical bands, that

when combined creates something visually and aurally special.

About Us

Vision

The Foxy Junes have been hard at work writing and beginning the recording

process of their own music. With Ocean Sounds fast approaching as one of their

highest profile shows, they are hoping to travel far and wide to build their

following with the release of their original music coming fast in tow.

They are looking for like minded and like sounded bands to open for as a great

path for exposure, however, there is no doubt they are very capable of

headlining shows having headlined a strong handful in their more local areas.

Though they do not carry a strong following far out of their stomping ground

yet, they are certain that any audience that do glance across their shows will

struggle to look away. They believe this will make their exposure journey

effective and worth while to all venues and promoters involved

Members

Jonah originally formed the band to back his solo album, however, with the ever

changing lineup of musicians he felt he finally landed on something special and

worked with the other members to form a solid band, with a new name and new

style. Jonah has a history in musical theatre and acting which he uses to his

advantage when performing. Jonah has a gripping charisma as a front man

despite often being tethered to the keyboard, taking notes from the likes of

Freddie Mercury and Elton John as his influences

Kirby began his musical journey watching his dad play and make music. This

sparked a love for music within Kirby. He started by playing piano and drums at

a young age moving to trumpet in high school while also finding his way into

music production guided by his dad and brother. After years of playing trumpet

in school bands for one performance he decided to pick up the bass and found

his true connection with it. He and Orlando have shared stages together for

many years which led him to join the original band Vann Amos, sparking its

transition to The Foxy Junes.

Imran found his start in music playing alto saxophone switching to baritone sax

to join the rhythm section of the school band. This rhythm section idea stuck

with him as he found his way to the drums. Imran completed his bachelor of

music at Monash university with drums being his primary interest. The early

mornings and late nights of drumming fostered by the university helped open

his ears to the genres he loved playing. RnB, Soul, Middle Eastern and Latin

music became his loves, however, when approached to join Vann Amos he

found that playing rock, pop and funk beats with his own latin twist was where

he truly shone. Being the first addition to the band he has had the privilege of

seeing the ever changing shape and sound of The Foxy Junes and is an integral

element of their distinct sound

Orlando’s musical journey began with the guitar, where his natural curiosity

quickly grew into a passion that blended technical skill with creative flair.

Throughout high school he honed his craft in ensembles and bands, building a

reputation for versatility and stage presence before collaborating with Kirby, a

partnership that expanded his musical horizons and opened new opportunities.

That collaboration eventually led him to Jonah’s band, Vann Amos, and later to

The Foxy Junes, where he now shines as the guitarist. Known for his dynamic

playing and energy on stage, Orlando is an integral part of the songwriting

sound of The Foxy Junes

Cinnamon has been playing guitar for 5 years and is currently studying Jazz and

Improv at VCA. Growing up on the east coast her influences come heavily from

surf rock and jazz and has brought these jazzy chords into The Foxy Junes

sound. Cinnamon currently froths Hiatus Kaiyotie and Parcels. Cinnamon has

hopes of playing as a session guitarist, producing her own music as well as

running festivals and other music events.
