Was it worth the wait? – You betcha!

Harry Hookey started his set and the night finished on the crescendo of Mia Dyson's last pitch perfect note. We wanted more.

Harry, the Aria nominated lad from Gippsland was a treat of tunes with his folky, rock and punk style. Dad, Stephen jumped on stage and confirmed what Harry said earlier that dad taught him guitar around the kitchen table whilst they sang the Cat Stevens classic, “Father & Son”.

Then Mia Dyson picked up the guitar, stepped into the mic and blew the rest of the night away with the clearest vocals and music playing skills that sets her apart as one of the best. The drummer, Dave Williams and the guitarist, Adam Donovan gave their all to ensure we received a night to remember, complete with an encore…so we could keep dancing…

It was great to host @themaesband an award winning contemporary folk band. Not one but two acts with the return of The Stony Six
to open the evening. Very talented musicians swapping instruments and taking turns at leading the next song.

Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' on last night with Sun Rising- The Songs That Made Memphis. A bit of cat calling, a Mystery Train, Falsom Prison, some low dancing, it all just left us Breathless. But that’s All Right Mama it was a foot stomping tribute band that had us dancing and swinging all night. Almost two hours and two encores later we had to alight the tribute train. What a great night enjoying live music and dancing away in full swing to a ridiculously talented band.
