AND JACK RAYMOND AS SUPPORT
There’s a quiet power in Jack Raymond - that rare mix of grit and warmth that makes you stop and listen. It’s the sound of gum leaves cracking underfoot, the hum of a night drive, the ache of home when you’ve been gone too long.
Born in the Victorian high country, Jack grew up surrounded by mountains and stories and the roots run deep through his music. He calls it “Mountain Roots” - a blend of blues, folk and heart. Since his early days busking at the Australian Busking Championships Jack has carved his way onto festival stage across the country - from Woodford Folk Festival and Gympie Muster to Agnes Blues & Roots, Kiama Blues Tamworth Country Music Festival and Wintermoon. He’s shared the bill with Hat Fitz & Cara, Riley Pearce, Austin Mackay and Minnie Marks.
When he plays live it’s just him, and stomp box and a guitar but the room feels full. His shows aren’t about polish; they’re about presence. You feel the dust, the laughter and the life behind every word.
