In an exciting first for SPM, the Blast on the Grass will feature 4 local bands entertaining us on the

Community Centre lawn in the great outdoors of Sandy Point.

• HERE BE GIANTS. Formed in Fish Creek in 2025, Danny on bass, Angelo on lead guitar and Josh on Drums began the band with an instrumental stoner rock dream. Travis was recruited on guitar and Roopa on vocals ,finding their sound and penning enough songs to hit the ground running. After a few gigs in local pubs and the city, they are ready to rock Sandy Point.

• DREW BENNY & MAPES: A TRIO BUILT ON CONNECTION AND MOVES. Teachers and students , reunited in South Gippsland have produced a trio of magic with individual experiences converging to a unique mix of styles. Whether originals or covers, they are driven by a shared love of melody,groove and live interaction that you cant help but join in.

  

  
  

• THE THREE AMIGOS : The newly formed trio consist of Nick Carver on Bass ,legendary guitarist Archie Leggett and Will Edwards on drums. They are a spontaneous power trio of psychedelic blues,rock and soul. All locals of South Gippsland and they're playing for the pure joy of music!

• JUNGLE JIM SMITH : Needs no introduction. You've all been at Sandy Point when JJS has lifted the roof with his One Man Blues /Rock /Magician art who creates Grooves and Rhythms that you cant stay still too. We welcome him back WITH GUSTO.
