Harry Hook is real

harry hook is real is an ARIA-nominated performer and songwriter who has toured around Australia, Europe and the USA. He currently works on Gunaikurnai land in Sale (Wayput / Flooding Creek). He studied as a lawyer but found the lure of folk music's big bucks all too attractive. In 2014, he won the International Songwriting Competition unsigned category and subsequently released a solo album with Warner Music. He has played in session bands for Kasey Chambers and has supported Lucinda Williams, Paul Kelly, Ryan Bingham and Busby Marou to name a few. In 2018, he moved back to Gippsland from Nashville to begin work on a new solo project as an independent artist. He is also 1/3rd of Desert Alien with Small Town Alien and Jesse Kidd. 2023 will see the release of his 3rd solo album, produced by Greg Walker (Paul Kelly, CW Stoneking). His music has country, folk and blues influences with a strong focus on the lyric. And we welcome his return to The Point

ALLY ROW : 2026 has accelerated into a massive year for folk country duo Ally Row; performing on the Australian Open stage, supporting Australian icons Ross Wilson/Mark Seymour/Alex Lloyd, touring internationally to the UK, as well as being the only Gippsland representing artist for BIGSOUND and a finalist in the Listen Up Songwriting Prize.

They have garnered over 1 million streams online, releasing a debut album that charted on the ARIA Charts and AMRAP charts and continued to gain positive reception and support from radio stations Double J, ABC Country and Triple J.

Later in the year they will be opening for ICEHOUSE and Ian Moss/Troy Cassar Daley!

But Gippsland is where they call home. Starting off busking down at the local Yarram Woolworths and Cafe Aga many years ago, Alice and Rowan quickly realised how special this community was (and continues to be).

Fast forward to today, and the dynamic duo are Sandy Point Music returners and we love it!
